Biograph Applet v2.0 is intended for the visualization of results for PeptIdent, FindPept and FindMod tools in the ExPASy server. Links to Biograph Applet are available as part of PeptIdent, FindPept and FindMod result pages.

In Fig. 1 you can see Biograph Applet v2.0 within Internet Explorer 6.0 on a Windows XP machine. The user can graphically see his/her spectrum entered to the right, and the matching proteins to the left. Biograph can highlight peaks that match any particular protein. In the next sections Biograph’s functionality and components are explained in detail.
